- Initial Consultation: During this consultation, Dr Shkre will assess your oral health, discuss your concerns and goals, and determine if fixed prosthodontic treatment is appropriate for you.
- Treatment Planning: If fixed prosthodontics is recommended, Dr Shkre will create a customized treatment plan based on your specific needs and preferences. This plan will outline the type of fixed prostheses recommended (e.g., crowns, bridges), the number of teeth involved, and the proposed timeline for treatment.
- Preparation: Before placing fixed prostheses, any existing dental issues, such as decay or gum disease, may need to be addressed. Additionally, for crowns and bridges, the affected teeth will need to be prepared by removing a small amount of enamel to accommodate the prostheses.

- Temporary Prosthesis (if needed): In some cases, temporary prostheses may be placed while the final restorations are being fabricated in a dental laboratory. - Fabrication: The impressions and other relevant information are sent to a dental laboratory, where skilled technicians fabricate the fixed prostheses according to your Dr Shkre's specifications.
- Try-in and Adjustment: Once the fixed prostheses are ready, you'll return for a try-in appointment. During this appointment, Dr Shkre will ensure that the prostheses fit properly and comfortably. Any necessary adjustments will be made at this time to ensure optimal fit, function, and aesthetics.
- Placement: After any final adjustments are made, the fixed prostheses will be permanently bonded or cemented onto the prepared teeth. a dental adhesives or cements will be used to securely attach the prostheses in place.
- Final Evaluation: Following the placement of the fixed prostheses, Dr Shkre will evaluate the fit and function of the restorations. Any additional adjustments may be made to ensure your comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintenance and Follow-up: Proper oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups are essential for maintaining the longevity and health of your fixed prostheses. Dr Shkre will provide instructions on how to care for your new restorations and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
